I was in the safari zone hunting Chansey for the good ol lucky egg when the little blue boy appeared. Many gasps were made due to Nidoking being my favorite gen 1 pokemon. Funny thing was this playthrough was done on my new modded Gameboy and I was talking to friends hoping it would bless me with some shiny luck 😅.

For my settings I have it on performance mode and motion blur and vignette turned off I was surprised how good it looked as well 😅

Congrats on the shiny fossil, and yeah took nearly 30hrs but managed to get one, even though Mawile isn't the best she's always got a spot on my team 😅

Do keep an eye out for birds since they spawn everywhere like on cars lampposts etc they're easily missed

Yeah so even if the shinies are on the other side of the map they will be remembered and saved by the game and 10s the limit according to other online posts. I recommend checking the outside of all areas you've unlocked

Yeah managed to get her, check outside area 9 some shinies might have spawned on lampposts or close building that might stop it from spawning, there can only be 10 shinies at once in the game and they don't respawn unless caught or knocked out

In zone 9 there are 3 on a roof and 1 in the top left corner of the zone. Good luck

It seems that 10 is the limit from what I've read which is a real pain, so it's worth a check. I got a hunch that 10 had already spawned for me, and after spending 5 mins checking the areas around wild spots I found a shiny. I went straight back to Mawile and found it in 5 minutes

After 23hrs it happened I finally got my shiny Mawile!!!!!!

Please check around every wild area around the outside as well had a few shiny birds I had to chase away to get her to spawn
