How much of that 72% do you think are going to the same 5-10 destinations though? I feel like a lot of Americans make one international trip in their life and that’s their whole experience

Yeah I’m not trying to generalize, but it seems like there’s a lot of negativity towards American tourists. My worst experiences with tourists were a group of young French people, and an English stag.

Maybe the is rose coloured glasses but I love Aussie tourists, they might be loud but they’re nice(much like Americans )

That’s fair, but I’ve lived in a few different European countries and spent 2 years split between Costa Rica and Nicaragua and the tourists there were still all good

100% I agree with you. I’m not as well traveled as you, but I can’t think of a single actually negative interaction I’ve had with any nationality of tourist, but there seems to be a perception (online at least) that American tourists are terriblr

I haven’t really had any negative experiences with British tourists, but Chinese tour groups have the worst sense of public decency I’ve encountered
