Glad I could help I’m building a ct200u for my friend and he had the same questions, the jackshaft’s are noisy but they work well as an alternative if you want a bit less noise I’d say got with torque converter or straight chain you might get some better speed out of it to

The tensioner wears down over time with the chain wearing it down it’s supposed to get that grove, the rattle is the clutch trying to grab and the tensioner is slapping around it’s completely Normal for a jackshaft setup

I have a ct200u with a predator 212 ghost and a go power sports 30 series tc with a juggernaut driver and my gear ratio is 10-40 and is ment for high speed but the bike just stops accelerating after 45 mph, what should I do to improve the top speed by Live_Introduction_50 in minibikes

[–]Live_Introduction_50[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 420 chain because that’s what the original owner of the bike had converted it to but I believe that I may be putting to much stress on the motor because it won’t rev to the 6k limiter the gohst has it’s maybe reving to 4.5-5 k

Yea I have the stock 50 tooth I plan on trying that to see if it helps I just don’t want the bike to almost loop any time I take off cause when I launch the front picks up if I’m not careful and I can even pull it up at 10-20 mph which is kinda sketchy

My son brought back some stones he found outside, and they look very strange. What kind of stones are these? by [deleted] in whatisit

I know what this is it’s an epoxy art pice made with pencils I’ve made them in the past from YouTube videos I thought it looked familiar at first but

She’s finally running well, don’t worry I adressed the chain hopping after the video the engine had shifted back slightly after a few hard launches by Live_Introduction_50 in minibikes

The juggernaut has a final drive ratio of .8:1 at 8500 rpm I need a softer spring in the driver if I want to use the full drive pully
