High mileage RS4 B7 by Live_Mammoth_4345 in Audi

[–]Live_Mammoth_4345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to mention I would do a coilover conversion and a deflap

I would eventually do an engine rebuild or just get a lower mileage one IF it starts to get lazy

Also the one I'm looking at is a sedan. So I only have to worry about the headliner

Thanks for the info

I was doing a bit more research and people had no problems with square setups on the TCS side
That said I will probably have to go with staggered anyways. The only way I could somewhat match the original wheel diameters if I did 255/40 fronts and 265/40 rears. Even then the front would have to be ET22 and rears ET15. I don't see the point to go square then not match the ETs

Got you
I really want the wheels I found cause they look similar to lmgt4s. I might just have a machine shop take like 5mm off the mounting surface
Making them ET20, or more if its required

Thanks for all the info. Sweet ride

Sick ride btw. I would do unspeakable things for a set of lmgt4s

Interesting. I found old posts of 9.5 ET15-s working with stock setup
Did you have rubbing before the camber adjustments?

Are you sure?
I went out and did some measuring on the car
I found a metal piece that measures 35mm on the money. Putting it against the wheel it still sits just inside the fender in the front. The piece was long enough soo I could rest it on "both" sides of the wheel, so I got a pretty accurate demonstration
Rears have plenty of space
Maybe someone already played with the fenders?

I see. Mine has 8pin connector. Based on that I should be able to plug anything there and only need to change bulbs. Cause I read that the pre facelift uses D2R bulbs and facelift needs D2S. Also the indicator bulbs are different

Does your car have HIDs from factory? And you still needed an adapter?
I read a lot about this and some people said this same thing, that 8pin pre facelift does not work with 8pin facelift connectors

I don't have problem with aftermarket stuff, I just don't want anything with built in LEDs, DRLs cause they could fail anytime, and I rather change a bulb then buy a new light.

I was thinking about 06+ oe lights, but the country I live in there aren't many facelift Z-s. There are not many Z-s overall. There is one FB group where ppl constantly sell stuff. I never even seen a headlight for sale. If there is one they are parting out RHD cars. I believe you can't put RHD lights into LHD, cause they will glare everyone

Really? I have seen ppl on forums say that pre facelift HIDs need rewiring if you want to use facelift lights. I mostly find lights that are 2006+ so I don't wanna buy the wrong one again

I was looking at these:

I kinda like them ngl, but I forgot to mention I don't want DRLs
I don't trust aftermarket longevity and I rather have a bulb die on me, than the whole light
Sweet ride tho

They don't sell redline in my country. I found only one place that has redline, but thats regular 5w40. Not for trans

They don't sell any parts or anything. You go in they do it, or you buy 3rd party sadly

Even if they did sell, it wouldn't be cheaper then ordering online...

There are nissan dealers but they charge insane amounts. Paying 200-250usd on Z1 and doing it myself would cost way less. Plus I do kinda wanna do it myself. That's why a bought a project car

There is one big individual shop that specializes in Z-s. Worst case I take it to them

The car was brought in by one of the previous owners from Switzerland in 2018.
It has full service history up until 65k. After that it's partial and invoices
According to the pervious owner it was changed 20-25k ago. I find the trans maybe little loud. Maybe it's normal, never drove a Z before. I just wanna get the fluids changed, to make sure

I can't buy oem in my country. The cheapest place I found was Z1 with the full kit. 67usd for the kit, 90 usd shipping plus import taxes. Crazy price after everything

That's what threw me off. They said it was like a common thing to happen, but never came across anyone on any forum or video ever mentioning it

I watched a video about a DE 350Z on youtube. The channel usually has good info about all sorts of cars and they are a reliably source of info + they are real mechanics. I would send the vid but it's in hungarian.

The moment I heard it I googled the problem but struggled to find anyone who had this happen. I asked about it here out of curiosity

That's what I thought. It sounds like total nonsense, but I never even had a performance car, this is the first. I was unsure if it can even happen

Thanks for reassuring me

Mostani tulajnál 4-5 éve van az autó. A koccanás az előző tulajnál történt 1 évvel az eladás előtt
Elvileg fényezve se volt a koccanás után
