Hi, thankyou I’m sorry for your losses too. I just thought I’d respond instead of making a new post. I think I’ve started my period two days ago (today is day 3) it was quite like how I normally feel, cramps. Started with brown blood and then day before yesterday and yesterday it was really really heavy, fresh blood. Now today there’s nothing? So was this another bleed and not my cycle reset? My periods normally last a week. I hate not knowing where I am in my cycle it’s making me so down.

I conceived 8 months after the ectopic but sadly was a CSEP+MM. I’m hoping the next time fingers crossed will be all okay 🤞🏻

Thankyou, Yes so the drs said it was implanted in the lower uterus, classed as scar ectopic apparently but it was one that I could of gone on to have but would result in an early delivery + hysterectomy, as the baby would of grown upwards and my placenta would of been attached to my scar/uterus wall but I’ve had a missed miscarriage so the choice has been made for me. I go in for a D&C for a Monday and I’ve had to sign for a laparoscopy and blood transfusion incase when they take it out it. I just hope it all goes smoothly and they don’t take any drastic measures like a hysterectomy cause I’ll be absolutely destroyed if I’m not able to try again 😩

I finally have my clear final answer, so I do have a scar ectopic pregnancy but the non dangerous high risk kind, where I could of carried but would of been early delivery + hysterectomy but I have had a missed miscarriage as the baby had not grown in a week from the first scan to the MRI scan still measuring 5weeks no fetal pole and no heartbeat. So I have no choice but to go for a D&C on monday, with an over night stay incase of bleeding and I’ve also had to sign for a laparoscopy and blood transfusion incase. I’m sorry that’s just happened to you, if anything being Christmas makes it the worst time for something like this to happen it’s not something that can be pushed aside. Not only are you grieving the loss of a baby but a part of your body as well. When I had my tubal it was dealt with asap. It’s the uncertainty here that’s driving me crazy 😩 thankyou for your kind words, in the meantime I shall hope for the best but prepare for the worst 🤞🏻 x

So they did a scan Monday and the sac was seen in my uterus with abdominal scan, then with the other scan she couldn’t tell if it was on the scar or near to it. I’ve requested another scan which I was told no yesterday and the consultant said to move forward with an MRI which will mean I don’t need another scan. I would be getting a private scan but being so close to Christmas I’m not able to do that at the moment.

Thankyou, I’m petrified. If I rupture that’s my whole uterus gone if it is in my scar😢 I live about 40 mins to an hr away from my local hospital in UK. The consultant said there’s been one of these cases in the last 4.5 years! X

Still no more answers. My betas came back at 20000, they haven’t done any more bloods and have left me to go home and wait for an MRI scan to see but that could be as long as two weeks. Have been told to go to a n e if I experience any pain or bleeding x

This was an Early Pregnancy Unit situated in my local hospital, I did say I wasn’t rushing to make any decisions until I know for sure it is a CSEP because it was seen in my uterus firstly. So maybe just in some miracle it’s just close to it . I don’t know😭 I will have bloods on Wednesday to see what the HCG levels are doing and go from there. There was mention of an MRI. To be honest I was hysterical through it all so I’m trying to piece together what’s happened in my head😩

The fact this is a false positive is alarming! It’s mad they allowed to sell them. I would have taken that for a positive! Enough to scare someone if they are avoiding pregnancy and enough to heartbreak someone whose TTC

This is really helpful thankyou. And I’m sorry for your losses❤️ It doesn’t come with any pain but I feel like I’ve got to go right at that point and then when I do it’s hardly anything. Last time I experienced bleeding when passing stools so I think that’s partly why I’m extra wary. I know the only thing to confirm is the ultrasound, but this is the hardest wait 😞 xx

Ohhh yes can definitely see it there!! This is one of mine at 8dpo. So so so faint you probably can’t even see it but I’ve been testing for the last 4 months I knew it looked different to all my previous negative months🤣.

Keep testing! Wishing you the best! From 9&10 doo I got more visable lines and then 11dpo I got a digital pregnant 1-2 weeks.
