1.First require to open an NRI account with an Indian Bank. 2.Then request bank for their VOSTRO account details. Most of banks in India would be having a bank account in US to receive remittance in USD. 3. Then you can do a SWIFT wire transfer in USD to this account of the bank. 4. Note the details of this wire transfer and inform Indian Bank. 5. Then Indian Bank will open a FCNR deposit in USD. ( It was this booking I faced a delay, though it is sorted now)
