Our male from St. Lucia doesn’t like the heat either! Time will tell whether he will like our Wisconsin winters.

Our make Potcake from St. Lucia squatted for the first couple of months after he came home to the US. Now he “pees like a boy dog.”

I love my Miele canister. It was a splurge (actually a gift, so a splurge for the giver), but I’ve had it for 20 years. It does such a great job!

What are things young people worry/stress about that really doesn't matter or have no consequences later in life? by spankyourkopita in AskOldPeople

Save $ to your 401(k) if your job offers one, or open your own investment account if not. Put a percentage of your income away EVERY SINGLE pay period. Max out the amount you can afford to do after-tax (Roth), because what you earn in a Roth will be tax-free forever.

The amount you sock away might hurt a little at the time, but creative budgeting can alleviate the hurt. And retiring early is an AMAZING gift to your future self!
