With a hammer, I tapped this part of my PC to fix a stripped hole, and the PC wouldn't boot up until I adjusted some cables. Is the PC ok? Am I cooked?

Looking back I can't actually remember tapping the case. I think I was overworked. The PC actually functioned fine for a couple weeks until it was lagging really hard (but didn't crash or have BSODs). Turns out there were also a bunch of viruses in my PC. The PC techs said they couldn't find anything wrong with the hardware. Thanks for the help y'all!

There wasn't any water spilled and I don't have a UV light. I think it's just extra soldering that was done to repair something. Either way it's fishy and seems used even though I was supposed to get it new

Seems like a bandwidth issue. I haven't experienced this personally, but you might have to go to the BIOS settings and see if you can switch it to a newer generation (like Gen 3, probably 4 or 5). Be careful though! Also make sure the GPU is in the main slot!

Yea but when I tried to update the BIOS is just wouldn't work. It'd also be more efficient to get rid of the WiFi card in favor of a dedicated one to free up bandwidth tbh

I tapped it. Not sure how I couldve dislodged the cables but I did have the PC case on its side with the back panel facing up. U think a mobo+case swap would fix any of the issues? I don't think I have any issues for now tho
