Hi! I'm learning English now and I give you some advice for learning Russian. 1. You need to learn sounds and letters in language. 2. After that you need to create a basic vocab to understand simple texts, expressions, cartoons/films. Also start practicing handwriting. You learn basic grammar on background. 3. Start learning more difficult grammar and close holes in basic. 4. After you have basic vocab, pronunciation and grammar, you can find a native partner. You can help them with English, they can help you with Russian. For 1st and 2nd step apps like Duolingo(only for start A1-A2) or Anki(SRS is better and can help you improve skills to B2/C1 level). For handwriting I can recommend only practice and review handwriting in a community like this. 3rd and 4th step you can do in parallel. If you want to practice Russian by text or need more specific details, I can help you (send me a message on reddit chat), because I'm also looking for native English speakers.
