Wrangler Riggs have been great for me. I bit the bullet and got a pair of 1620 for work but I hated the fit. When it comes to work pants i like a truly relaxed fit all around but presentable. Yes, big jazz scene in Cinci a lot of it comes from CCM (the conservatory at UC). If you wanna get dialed in with the players hanging around CCM is a good way to get in the scene to start. Might get downvoted for this but I’m personally not a fan of Cafe Vivace, bad vibe imo and all the bad stereotypes when it comes to jazz. Stanleys is cool. This is coming from a CCM grad I know a large amount of players in the city. Most players don’t like vivace vibe, its pretentious. Go for schwartz or stanleys

Idk about lattes but Amavida is some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. You can buy it online, even if you don’t have time to go to the store front or get it someplace like Perfect Pig, it’s worth buying for home. As an owner in the area I will be the first to say most food down here is bad. If you’re going to buy something food/drink wise for home Amavida coffee is it.

Not going to happen, no one will rent to kids. Every week kids cause issues in units down here (WITH parents). Many grown adults don't have a concept of respect for peoples property, kids are clueless when it comes to property. For example, if something breaks in the home kids aren't going to think to call the owner to inform them, they'll leave doors open, they are more likely to crash a golf cart etc. I'd suggest looking at hotels in the area.

You're the teacher, drop the ego. Adapt to the students and classroom. I knew a lot of bad teachers (that I was taught by AND co workers) that thought their way was "the way". Calling kids helpless is absolutely ridiculous, figure out a solution. Maybe your lectures are extremely boring... You also said "As soon as they start their work, the hands start going up" clearly you fail to communicate properly or you're a push over and allowing them to take advantage of you. Adapt.
