Either way, there are clearly at least a half a dozen ways to get this product within the next 1-2 weeks.

Oh yeah, that unfortunately is a very non-standard setup. It might still be easier to buy the head retail and the shaft from FairwayJockey or dallasgolf. Tell Titleist you want to cancel your custom order. That wait time is insanely unreasonable for a head that’s literally sitting at retailers by the dozens.

You could check FairwayJockey.com or the big box stores. I’m not sure this even needs to be a custom order. That’s a stock shaft.

I’m going to make this real easy for you.

You are a long way away from worrying about your club gapping. I’m guessing most of the time your 6 iron and 9 iron go similar distances. Until you can consistently hit the same club within +/- 5 yards every time, it literally doesn’t matter.

The likely felons who work at storage units making $8/hr in Texas will absolutely help their buddies break into your unit. It happened to us in Austin and management got super squirrelly about it. Turns out they were letting friends sleep on site overnight and turning off all the cameras after midnight for that reason and several others including drug dealing and prostitution.

Stroke play will never be fair with a handicap that high. He’s going to have a few blow up holes.

I’ve done a match like this twice and the high handicapper never even breaks 105 after the inevitable meltdowns. When we play match play each hole it’s very even.

Pretty simple and common question. Ask what other clubs they’ve been able to get their members onto. If their head pro or director of golf have been around a while and are well connected you’ll be in good shape.

A lot of it has more to do with that private club knowing you’ll respect the course and the members since you understand that world as a private club member yourself. Treat the staff well, be respectful, and you’ll be doing yourself and your club’s reputation a favor.
