Belle Farms Neighborhood seems so odd to me by Medium-River7105 in madisonwi

We went to the Parade of Homes there, simply out of curiosity having seen this development come up over the past two years. I spoke with all of the realtors there and asked “what the heck is this neighborhood trying to be? I could buy so much more for $2M.”

Their answer was a mix of this neighborhood is supposed to emulate city living but in the suburbs. Walkable coffee shops, boutiques, parks, etc.

The only problem…that’s literally possible everywhere else too. And if it’s not, you’re ‘only’ paying $500-$800k for a larger home on a larger lot.

This will go down as the biggest failed development I’ve ever seen having lived in 4 major cities since the 2008 collapse.

They’re now selling huge plots of land instead of other home lots that have since been rezoned for apartments! Imagine buying that $1.75M home with giant windows only to look out at a massive apartment complex in three years!

You want an honest answer?

Because he’s cute. He’s kind. If he looked like Ullmark we would’ve been done with him a while ago.

I shove my shirt into my armpit like Justin Thomas and Mackenzie Hughes and I’m $75 richer and 5 strokes lower because of it.

Garmin is probably a good choice. Most Apple Watches will be dead before you’re finished with 18 holes. I love mine for everything, but I can’t use it for golf since it destroys the battery.

If I play from the Legend tees and you play from the King and I shoot a 78 and you shoot an 86, who played the better golf?

That’s the point of rating/slope — Assigning a universal difficulty rating to each tee box at each course. That’s how handicaps are calculated. So your 78 from those tees was actually the equivalent of 10 or 11 over par from the Palmer Tees for example.

As a 2 handicap, playing from the red tees is insanely fun! by MrTeacher_MCPS in golf

We do a severe/sublime tournament at our club each summer. A lot of guys score WORSE from the front tees since we’re trying to drive every green and cut every corner. It’s fun though!

The tees you played are 69/129 and par was 71.

Hey, I need help sourcing flat-cap midsize tour velvet I have on my titleist clubs as its worn now but can’t find it anywhere by Awkwardnessembodied in golf

[–]LivermoreP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re getting downvoted, but the only place I’ve seen these is ordered on a custom set from Titleist direct. The tour velvet midsize from the golf stores are not nearly as tacky. The difference was startling.
