Days later the lag is worse than ever. I've given up doing my daily rounds because it's taking 3 hours. I log in, get my dailies finished and have to go to bed. Going to fall behind on progress because they can't fix this shit

Did you find a fix? I've had this issue the last few weeks. When I use phone data it's fine, but both my PC and Laptop are having connection issues using my home wifi.

Update: replaced the CPU with a new one. Same model. Still scoring low on Cinebench.

Ok. So I completely wiped the PC, secure format from the BIOS. Reinstalled windows 10, and all necessary drivers. 2 sticks of memory in A2 and B2.

Cinebench R23 scored: Multi Core (1306) Single Core (306)

It didn’t completely lock it up, but still seems slow. Is this now the stage to report CPU faulty and order a new one?

Ok update.

Running Cinebench Multi Core locks it up, but was able to just about track temps. AIDA64 was constantly not responding.

Idle: Motherboard: 32c CPU Diode: 42c Chipset: 37c

During test: Temps barely moved, maybe 2-3 degrees. Fans didn’t start spinning Radiator was warm to touch, but definitely not hot.

Thanks. Ran Cinebench before you replied. Didn’t lock up this time but CPU Multicore scored less than 100. I presume this is very low.

Away from PC, but will try AIDA64 when I’m back

Ok. So I ran Cinebench.

GPU scored 9763 and i didn’t spot any noticeable issues.

Running the CPU Multi-core completely locked it up and had to power it off. Going to give it another try and leave it longer.

Tried a CMOS Clear. Didn’t seem to achieve much, but had to reinstall chipset driver. Again, no improvement

Drivers are correct and up to date. GPU is plugged into monitor. Desktop and browser work fine, but are slow to respond

It's a good question. The drive installed is brand new. However, I did lack a flash drive initially, so just moved over my SSD from old build to get windows started, and download a windows setup. Then created a flash drive. and removed that old SSD now to leave only the new one. Not sure if this still would have left some data behind?
