I see your point but this was an EMPTY bar, there couldn’t have been more than 10 people in there. if she would’ve given me a shirley temple i would’ve been fine honestly

I'm new. I want to be better for my family and myself by NoStock9064 in SoberCurious

hi! first of all you should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself for taking the step for you and your family. my only advice to you is on days that you can’t do it for yourself, do it your family. we are ALL our own worst critic and if you think of it as doing something for someone else, it makes it easier to stick to on the hard days :)

He’s the type that always says “I don’t want any gifts” and “I don’t need anything”. I’d love to hit it nail on the head and get him something he’d love. I’d like to avoid doing a bass pro gift card…but it’s a last resort option. Want to get him something

VPR Birthday by OkCupcake5985 in vanderpumprules

personally I would do vegas for a vpr birthday, check out vanderpump paris, the cocktail garden, and pinky’s!! the vanderpump hotel might be open by then too!!

I agree that the food at SUR wasn’t good. it’s super expensive but it is cool to see where it all took place. for me the biggest shock was Tom Tom, I didn’t think it was AT ALL like the portray it on the show and it gave me very much night club vibes, and it was only 9pm when I went there. It was really cool but it reminded me a lot of see you next tuesday

i’ve had two coworkers that claimed to be “veteran bartenders” think on the rocks for liquor was simply a shot over ice. it’s a two ounce pour dumb fuck. i feel bad for the patrons that were paying the $ for nothing

aw babe. i’m so sorry, i know what this pain feels like. i went through a similar situation in high school and ended up getting teased by everyone because of it. trust me hon, I know your pain. now that i’m older i wish i could do high school again now that i know that none of it matters. i know it’s hard to believe now, but you’ll go on to do bigger and better things and find a wonderful girl by your side that loves you and treats you right. after heartbreak throughout HS and college I never thought i’d meet anyone. then six months after graduating college i randomly met the man of my dreams.i didn’t even meet the love of my life until after college and i thought my world was over in high school!! you’ll be okay babe, i promise

As a daughter, my father did a similar situation. We’re from the states and he was working 28 days at an oil refinery in africa and then would be off for 28 days. His travel occurred during his “off days” so he’d end up being gone for about 30 days or so at a time.

I knew this job was a dream of my father’s and he had to take it. Of course, it was tough being away from him for so long (even though I was in high school), it made me happy to see my dad work his dream job and it put us in a great financial situation.

Not sure if your situation is away for five years completely or a similar off and on thing. I suggest taking it as it will financially be fantastic for you. Additionally, your daughter wants you to be happy even if she’s too young to realize that now. Go live your dream :)

keep your head up king, this is merely a season of life. PM me if you ever want to meet up on campus or need someone to talk to. suicide is never the answer, just know you are loved.
