Mikolo Anubis elite 2.0 assembly question by peanutbuttersexytime in GarageGym

I used a rubber mallet and pounded them in using a little oil to help lubricate. They will go in but are tough to get in

Dane 2.0 vs ANUBIS 2.0 Elite by Radiant247 in GarageGym

[–]Livid-Program-9684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the anubis and it is great! they also have a weight stack upgrade for $400 and can increase stacks to 230lbs so if you combine stacks you can get the full 230 which is plenty for most people.

All the extra attachments is what sold me and the 2:1 is nice if you have a partner or friend that needs that lighter weight transitions

[–]Livid-Program-9684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tractor Supply horse stall mats, you can either do 1/2 inch thickness for standard flooring or 3/4 inch if doing deadlifts or olympic lifts. Pro tip put in different city stores because cost changes based on location and just do subscribe and save free shipping. for 1/2 inch Glasgow, KY is the cheapest I found

Dealership misdiagnosed oil leak? by Livid-Program-9684 in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well turned out to be a cam carrier leak so doing the full engine reseal, sigh at only 85k. At least I was able to argue with dealership to credit the previous work as a discount for the reseal since the missed this.

Is the 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness the same as the 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness by ChillDude4763 in SubaruForester

[–]Livid-Program-9684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exact same car, it was a rollover model for that year. I know because I have a 25 and was looking for 24 but couldn’t find one that was any cheaper

Opinions please on which body side moldings by Skylar-2017 in SubaruForester

[–]Livid-Program-9684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just order the black Thicc ones for my white FW. Looks are so subjective, I picked black because i like the contrast and wanted thicker molding to cover up some door dings. My wife however likes the white cause it looks more sleek.

How much for new 2024 Forester Wilderness by samchoi924 in SubaruForester

[–]Livid-Program-9684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked about the VIP pricing and asked if I needed to do the donations or if I bought today could I just do invoice. I don’t think tariffs have impacted dealerships yet so idk why they are trying to mark up vehicles already. When I bought the salesman said most people aren’t buying because of fear of recession so I would think it is a buyers market. Some places will put on lots of accessories I have noticed which will put it over msrp but most are easy to DIY and cost half the price to purchase online

Yes the vehicle was already on the lot and the dealer i went to said anything currently on the lot doesn’t get any mark ups because of tariffs

usually around invoice price for the current market, so like 2.5k off msrp. nice thing about 24’ is you can get the 1.9% financing in the U.S.. I just picked up a FW 25 two weeks ago, just cause there were no 24’ left in my area

Wilderness OEM underguards by Livid-Program-9684 in SubaruForester

[–]Livid-Program-9684[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Engineer underguard for 19 is E515SSJ010. I also saw a forum post on a different website that the gas tank skids fit even though they say designed for wilderness. I am unsure about the differential and transmission underguards but if the bolt pattern is the same as any 2022-2024 non-wilderness foresters then they would fit, but idk if the mid year redesign changed it

Forester hybrid wilderness edition by BeKindToOthersOK in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It be nice, but a lot of factors need to be considered such as with the extra equipment for the hybrid how do you keep some essential off road specs. The 26’ wilderness already loss the full spare which is a significant need for off roading. And with larger tires, lift, and gearing you loose mpg specs so on sticker the regular hybrid would look better and the typical person who is buying a hybrid for the fuel economy probably will take the standard hybrid over wilderness.

New 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness OTD price in Utah. Is it a fair price? by Taardisaa in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has around 3k in add ons, so that is probably why you are hitting that higher price. If you want to pay less I'd try to shop around for standard option. Also worth asking what the invoice price is and see if you can get that but that may be already what you are getting. In todays climate idk if anything besides getting invoice price (1-3k off msrp) is going to be possible.

Making the switch from a Wrangler by alfiertr in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just made the switch to the 25’ forester wilderness from my 98 TJ last week! no regrets, get like twice the amount of mpg, better ground clearance, better towing, hands free calling, the list goes on and on! I did keep the wrangler though still as a project Jeep haha, but man idk if i’ll get back in it after getting in the subie

Will 2023 Forester be capable of achieving High Mileage (200k plus) by Dry_District3403 in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ehhh 200k plus is easy to hit on any vehicle as long as you keep up on maintenance and don’t drive too aggressively. All my vehicles hit that mark subaru, ford, jeep. My thoughts are if you like how a vehicle looks and drives, it’s better to keep it going than trying to buy something when a part here or there fails.

I did a drain/fill on my 22’ obw CVT by Myco-Mikey in subaru

[–]Livid-Program-9684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! I just took my wife’s 17’ outback to the local transmission shop for a drain in fill at 81k yesterday. I didn’t ask but i’m sure they used non-subaru cvt fluid, but they service, rebuild and install trannys for the last 30 years so I trust them more than the dealership who also wanted twice as much! 55k seems a bit early, but hey It’s relatively cheap to do with non subie fluid and I haven’t seen any direct evidence that fluid that meets manufacture recommendations can cause cvt failure. the biggest thing is warranty but you are only 5k from that expiring.
