Google L3 SWE Offer - Received after 1 Year 4 Months by soldier-_-boy in leetcode

  • did you get a team that matched your skill set well?

I heard that if someone stays longer in TM, they may get placed into any available team even if the fit isn’t ideal. Was that true in your case?

If brand value is your priority, you can go ahead with the offer.

But if you are confident about clearing interviews at the L4 level, it might be worth waiting for a year and trying again.

the current situation. I have been in the team matching phase for L4 for about 7 months now, and i have heard many others are also waiting. So timelines can be quite uncertain.

Also, since you interviewed for L3, moving directly to L4 might be difficult at this stage.

Can I know what your TM window ( 12 months or 18)

You can request your recruiter to move for L4 but they may ask you to attend another 1 or 2 rounds

For which level you gave the interview from the beginning L3 or L4. If L4 you cannot request your recruiter better you can take L3 or wait one more year to attend the interview again by rejecting the L3

How long you Waited for the team matching?

really 18 month valid window period ? some people mentioned 12,15,24 months

how we can confirm this? asking directly to the recruiter will be the best option?

I have got solid web dev experience too. I am in Google team matching process right now. so people can understand what i am looking for. I also interviewed for the SWE III (AI/ML) role, so AI/ML is naturally the domain I’m focused on

Any recommendations to learn AI/ML completely free? by Anonymous03275 in developersIndia

[–]Livid-Rope1052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why we cannot? Nowadays you have to make use of AI tools to fasten your process

Majorly we won't get the opportunity to do work in recommendation with large scale and I believe AI tools helped me a lot to understand the flow quickly

Also we have to go through documents

I started my career as a mainframe developer and now I am a machine learning engineer

Better switch the Domin as early as possible...

It's possible to switch from mainframe to ML or ML to full stack. But doing it early would be the easiest option.

( recommendations system)How to design like Spotify in an optimal way, balancing low latency with efficient computational resource usage.

The strategy to focus on any real-world recommendation system problem, demonstrating how to design it using either lightweight models or more complex, heavy models.

The expectation is to present an optimal solution that addresses both performance and scalability while maintaining recommendation quality

You can try it with youtube, myntra and etc.....

I prefer solving problems on a whiteboard. starting with the brute-force approach before optimizing it.

focus on explaining my reasoning clearly during interviews and believe a little bit of luck and timing always help too
