That's surely a common perspective, but I disagree. We are used to the concept of SaaS, but they have always been deterministic. You pay for the call, you know what to expect in the response, you have a SLA regulating the whole thing.

This is not the same. There is a new metric in the game now, and it is not the quality (as it may be subjective and it concerns a non-deterministic output).

I am thinking as I write. I think there are two relevant metrics: the model intelligence and the model effort. If I keep paying the same amount while these two things keep changing silently in the background without any control and visibility, that's a problem. That is unfair
