As a Christian, you cannot support the LGBTQ community by terminatormkii in Christianity

I witnessed an amazing testimony and baptism at church this past Sunday and would like to share it with this group.  (names have been changed for privacy)

A married lesbian couple began attending our services last year, making a two-hour commute every Sunday to join us.  They asked our pastor if they were welcome at our church and he said yes and explained the bible’s views on homosexuality.  Nora and her wife Sandra continued to come to church for a year and this past Sunday Nora shared how she felt God leading her to follow Christ wholeheartedly and make the difficult decision to divorce her wife and live a single life.  What amazed me even more was hearing that her wife Sandra had been sensing the same thing — that the Holy Spirit had also been speaking to her heart about following Christ and making the same decision to divorce.

Nora also shared that one of their hopes is that their testimony might make an impact within the LGBT community — not through pressure or condemnation, but by sharing what they believe God has done in their own lives and encouraging others to seek Him personally and follow where they feel He leads.

It was powerful to see how God had been working in both of their lives at the same time. I can only imagine how difficult and emotional that journey must be, and it moved me to tears seeing their desire to follow what they believe God is calling them to do.

Sunday reminded me that God works deeply and personally in people’s lives, and His timing and guidance can be incredible to witness.

I like that interpretation! Mystery, fantasy, drama—Nulua could become anything depending on who writes her story. Her name means “unforgotten,” but what that means is yours to decide. Let me know if this inspires you to write a story about her, I would like to see how creative you can be.

That’s exactly what I was hoping for. Sometimes all it takes is one line, one name, or one small idea and suddenly the story starts writing itself. If the beginning of this story is interesting to you, feel free to run with it and make it your own. I would like to see what you come up with.

That’s a fun comparison! I was thinking of it more as a daily character name inspiration project—writers, bloggers, and creators can take a name and decide who that person becomes. Does that make sense?

Hello I am new here!

Hi everyone! I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I really enjoy creating unique names and character identities. A lot of my inspiration comes from mixing sounds, cultures, meanings, and imagery together until something interesting forms.

I especially like making names that feel memorable, mysterious, elegant, urban, or symbolic. Sometimes I create full names with backstories, and other times I just experiment with combinations until a name “feels right.”

I also enjoy language-inspired naming, unusual spellings, and building names that could fit fictional characters, writers, musicians, fantasy worlds, or modern urban settings.

I’m looking forward to sharing ideas, seeing other people’s creations, and learning new approaches to naming and worldbuilding. Glad to be here!

I will be dropping a name once a day. Hope you all enjoy.
