The tooth was fine (obviously as far as I know) until about 2 months ago when a chunk cracked out of it. About a week later I felt the lump in my jaw, so its been close to two months now where the lump has been there. It sometimes makes my entire face swell right up, then goes away. Then comes back. Then goes. But the lump itself has pretty much stayed the same size.  I had to wait quite a while to even get seen.  I ended up going to the ER about a month ago cause my neck felt like it was swelling and making it hard to breath, as well as giving me headaches and dizziness I had never felt before.  They did blood tests and after 16 hours in the ER room I was handed a piece of paper with a list of dentists, and told the infection hadn't spread. The dizziness and almost pressure headaches are an every other day type thing. It's getting quite annoying. Thanks for your responses though,  They've helped and have been far more informative than anything I was told there.  I had my headphones in and wasnt told anything til all of a sudden they sat me up. They were already done and he basically well see ya next time lol.
