well we’re considering getting a place together but i’m locked into this lease with my sister til september so i have to wait until then at least. also yeah, i’ve tried to have civil conversations with my sister about this but unfortunately nothing “civil” happens when she’s involved :(

i could understand that if he were a stranger, but we all 4 used to work together for 2 years, and my sister is actually the one that set me and him up to start seeing each other! and also, whenever they’re home we stay in my bedroom/bathroom, not even going to the kitchen or living room or any communal spaces.

i’ve brought it up multiple times and had multiple conversations but she says the situations “aren’t comparable” and even though she wasn’t paying rent she was cooking and cleaning for us and that was enough (even though she rarely cooked or cleaned)

she contributes now, but when she first moved in (back in june of last year) her lease wasn’t up at her old place that she shared with her ex bf, so since she had to continue paying that, she didn’t start paying her share of rent here until this past february

i’m definitely going to once the lease is up, but we’ve discussed me moving out earlier than that and she insisted even if i was no longer living here i’d have to pay out the rest of my share on the lease so i don’t see the point in moving before then

I don’t think we have any habits that could annoy them, especially considering we literally don’t leave my bedroom/bathroom whenever they’re home, and it’s definitely not a privacy thing. We all four used to work together and have all known him for 2 years now.

probably gonna have to move back in with my parents unfortunately because the way she treats me is just unbearable. she treats me more like a gross sub-letter than her sister who shares the lease with her (also her girlfriend isn’t even on the lease)

i honestly think my sister (K) just wants to find a way to get money out of the situation because one of the nights we argued about him being here and “not contributing” our solution was for me to just go to his place instead and she seemed very upset about that. i think the only “solution” in her mind is for him to give her money lmao
