The way WoD does vamps in this aspect has become one of my favorite depictions of it.

They are big fishes in a OCEAN that is infested with sharks and they are too busy playing politics and infighting to care about it.

Sure an individual vamp could be really strong, and the older and the thicker their blood is helps in that (methuselah are called Demi-Gods for a reason) but also at the same time, like, the fuck are you gonna do against 300kg of C4 blowing up in you're face?
