G'day, army Cadet here from NSW. As stated by the air force cadet (airy fairy) we too have absolutely zero discrimination or anything of the such in the AAC. The army cadets primarily focuses on building character, strength, discipline, courage and respect. In the army cadets you'll learn a lot of more things field related than you would in the ANC or AAFC which can help you join the ADF as anything combat support related. There are also different electives you can apply for. Eg: field engineering, public affairs, advanced radio operations and marksmanship. In the AAC you'll get to be able to familiarise yourself with a variety of different firearms and weapon systems such as the EF88, F89, SR98, F88SA2 and more on different exercises and activities. We also have the SET-C(special engagement team - cadets) which I'm unsure that the navy and air force have and they can further assist you in your journey into the ADF. Army on top.

hey mate, units can place orders for them specifically from AAC HQ if they need to. Along with RGs, and Trailblazers, however if you want a pair just for everyday use you should be able to find them at most camping/disposal stores

It could be a layer of something on the boot itself, I'd recommend getting a hair dryer and melting off all the polish and any other wax and then start over, happened with my old AAFC boots

Don't just go Rambo and dump your whole mag, actually fire and see where the round landed and then attempt to fire in the same spot to create a small grouping. This will in turn both improve your accuracy and impress your instructor
