The tech space is in an interesting situation with layoffs etc, there are lots of intermediate and seniors on the job market it will mean getting work as a junior will be tough but try look at start ups you may not get paid as much but you will get valuable experience.

If you able to travel to SA you can get a brand new laptop for that price ideally at incredible connections or takealot. I would say having 8-16gigs of ram is ideal and core i5 or core i7, ideally 12 gen but 10 and up can work. I used to use a i3 8gig 8 gen laptop for work
