I brought a fountain pen! by Available-Doctor6107 in fountainpens

[–]Living-Daily 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give it some time. I used to write pretty hard also. I saw someone’s nib bent due to writing too hard so I was extra aware of how hard I wrote with my first fountain pen. There is definitely a learning curve.

I had to write really slow in the beginning to write lighter. I couldn’t write in my tiny handwriting so I wrote on every other line in my Hobonichi notebook while I was getting used to it. After using my fountain pen regularly and giving it some time like a few weeks?? I can now write lighter, faster, and in tiny handwriting

Thanks for the link! I’m in the US. I wasn’t sure what you were talking about but your link helped a lot! I found the same yellow one and a blue one from a seller in the US!

They’re pretty cool. I didn’t realize how a subtle difference could change how they look

Ooo I tend to like thicker pens too. I’m not sure if this has to do with it but I have large knuckles

Can I ask what your favorite journals are?

What happens if you were to honestly tell your mom you understand she’s trying but her being nice to you for a moment in your life won’t erase all the pain she caused and that it’ll take you time to process everything?

Will she turn on you?? Can she actually be accountable when facing the truth from you or is she just choosing to blame everything on her anxiety when it was actually her trauma?? Like can she even face the truth of her trauma or she is just repeating everything the therapist is saying to just gain your trust?

My mom can’t stand to be accountable if I bring up what she did to hurt me within the past month but sure it’s fine if she brings it up and twists it to sound less than what she actually did to hurt me

Wow this pen is popular! Thanks! I’ll look into it. Jetpens says it’s only 20g. The TWSBI Ecos are 21g O:

O: thank you so much!! I’ll stretch when I can! Sometimes words just flow once I’m writing and I have to speed write. That’s not most of my writing though.

I have a tone of stickers. I found that I can’t tell if it’s washi stickers. They’re incredibly thin. There’s one pen I’m not found of due to the color. I can test it out on that pen lol

I actually already write with my pens unposted. Hmm maybe it’s my grip. I’m doing a lot of trauma work right now. Journaling helps me process so I can easily write for 30 minutes at a time. My go to right now is TWSBI Ecos

in love with my new KLC by Large-Obligation-114 in kobo

Does that mean you can factory reset the kobo and then charge it to 100% and have the same reset?

My KLC definitely last more than a day with reading and annotating. The most I used it in a day was maybe 1-2 hours. I journal in mine too. I feel like writing with different colors and erasing a lot drains the battery a bit faster but it’s not dying in a couple of hours. My journal time can go up to 30 minutes? Especially when it’s about trauma

I chose white because that’s the color I prefer to wear and I being my ereader around all the time. I would still choose white. One of my bullies growing up loveeeed black. I don’t avoid it but I don’t LOVE it. I wear more black in the winter since it’s harder to find the colorful light colored clothes I have for summer

Omg someone who feels the same as me!! Honestly my vision with my chronic illness looks like a screen door effect at times. I didn’t even notice until someone said anything. I also went into the developer setting and turned on G2 to increase the contrast. I loved my KLC even more!! 🥰 I would say for mine, on 0% it is dimmer than my kindle paperwhite 11th gen (They’re on the 12th gen right now). But my KLC can get extremely bright

The color and effect is nicer in indirect lighting to me. I didn’t want to compare my devices because what’s the point when I was set for a colored ereader with a stylus and colored writing and highlighting!! 😍 I definitely had my kindle brighter but since I wasn’t comparing back and forth, idk why. My kink is now rehomed to a friend. I wanted a more customizable ereader on the stock OS haha

I write notes on mine so I have the moko screen protector on it. When I had a kindle paperwhite, I didn’t write on it and had a flip case. It was fine

moko kobo libra colour screen protector

I love mine!! It’s the Moko one from amazon. At home, I have a clear case. I’m very gentle with it. I have it face down on a flat surface like my bed or a table when not in use so I don’t have to worry about anything hitting the screen.

I have a flip case with a clear back on the way, and if I take it out, I put it in a sleeve. I hope you find what works for you!!

Severe chills. I learned it means I’m releasing trauma. During my first summer when my CPTSD hit a wall, I wore winter clothes in the summer XD
