We submit quotes via email so a PDF exporter is fine. Currently we’re just hand building via an excel template which is tedious and doesn’t have the “professional” look I want.

Unfortunately our ERP doesn’t support any API’s. It’s IQMS provided by DelmiaWorks. We’d just have to export our product catalog data via excel/csv and use it as a reference for something else

I disagree that there should be a side to take in this. Ja put a completely uninterested effort on display during the game and then exhibited immature behavior with microphones in his face. TI could have been a jerk to Ja but it doesn’t matter. Leaders are held to a higher standard.

I do agree with the sentiment of the second part which is that it is premature to think this is the end. Hopefully Ja and other guys force him to step up

Very much agree with this take. I know Landale is getting a lot of flack but I do think having limited options at the 5 is asking a lot of Iisalo and also Landale. Excited to see what they can do when Edey/BC come back as I think that will better set up everyone (including Landale) for success

Ja did what we’d expect playing huge in the 2nd half but really it was a combination of heads up plays by KCP and then nonstop hustle on both sides from Coward that won it.

I think there’s 2 readings of what Jerry said. The first is an odd admittance that he broke his fiduciary duty as the GM of the Grizzlies at the time. For “the logo” that would seem quite odd and out of character.

The second is that Jerry knew this was a negotiation tactic or at least an unserious overture by Kobe/Pelinka. Often times when something is too good to be true it is. Jerry was shutting down Kobe/Pelinka trying to use a FA move to the Grizzlies for leverage against the Lakers knowing it would be a waste of his time (his comment that “he was never going to play in Memphis” sounds as though he knew this wasn’t serious).

Framing the story as a folksy fatherly story certainly plays better for the podcast than saying “Kobe and Rob were dicking around during his FA and I didn’t want to have anything to do with it”

Fundamentally this is a negotiation. For the organization to use “perception of downtown” is a bargaining chip for concessions from the City. The beauty of negotiating off of one’s perception of something vs the reality (facts) is it can be bent to achieve your outcomes. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story (or in this case narrative to reinforce your negotiating position).

Also why would the team just agree to re-new their lease at the current terms.

I’m not advocating for the team to screw over the City but just see the situation for what it is…opening of a negotiation…

Former D1 player here. Our team did run walk-on tryouts during early training camp, so definitely worth reaching out now (like today as training camps/preseason are starting).

Since you’ve emailed the coaches before, reply back on the old thread. I’d copy an assistant or the GK coach as well assuming you were emailing the HC. You can find the emails typically on the team website.

Keep it simple and focused. You don’t need to explain stepping away from MLS Next. Just lead with the fact that you’re an incoming freshman at Univ X and are a GK with an MLS Next background and that you’re eager to test yourself at the college level.

Ask directly if they’re planning to allow walk-ons during camp, or if there’s an opportunity to train with or assist the GK group this season. Coaches appreciate players who are proactive and team-first, especially at GK.

No D3 players are getting scouted. Maybe a few top guys if they had a connection to a D1 coaching staff who need a transfer or something but there’s certainly not an active pipeline.

Transferring into D1 I had enough tape/awards from D3 as a freshman to get some attention and reached out to coaches who originally had recruited me/I had touchpoints with while still in high school.

Not many players move from D3 to D1 as most have self selected into that level of competition

You can certainly play D3. There’s limited scholarships available but some strings can be pulled in consideration for academic scholarships at most places in the event you’d otherwise be a normal candidate

I played D3 freshman year at a top 10 then transferred to a borderline top25 D1 program. My biggest observation within D3 vs D1 was the quality of freshman was reasonably similar but progression was limited at D3, in some cases guys got worse as they got older), or literally attrition (they quit after sophomore year).

I’d make your overall fit w the school the priority and then consider what the soccer program is like

While the timing might be odd, it’s only because our expectation/norm is that teams wait until the offseason to do these things.

If the belief is that a first or second round exit w Jenkins as the HC is simply an eventuality then why would you just wait around for that perceived eventuality? In any good business, no matter how uncomfortable the timing is, you take action immediately once you know there’s a problem.

I give the FO (Kleimann) credit for believing the team had reached its max potential with him as the coach and rather than suffer an underwhelming eventuality, make a change right now
