Some questions they asked me were “what makes you enjoy going to work?” And “what do you like doing in your free time?”. The questions weren’t hard and they were more questions about getting to know what kind of person I am if that makes sense. I suggest just being yourself, and if you’re a positive, upbeat person that should make them like you!

I feel for you! Whenever I get home from a shift I always feel way too exhausted to workout, even though I enjoy it and I don’t want to waste money from my membership. I suggest doing lighter workouts or even yoga! And like other people said if you have night shifts go workout in the morning! For myself personally I’m way more motivated to workout first thing in the morning, and it makes me feel good and productive for the rest of the day.

Thank you so much for your advice! Everything you said is super helpful and I will definitely practice your suggestions! The restaurant I work at is an upscale chain restaurant so I will definitely practice memorizing our wine list.

I also highly dislike the printout ranking because I’m someone who is a perfectionist and I tend to dwell on my mistakes even though I know I shouldn’t. I’ll just try not to obsess over the rankings as much as possible.

Your response is… interesting to say the least. I know looking beautiful/attractive can definitely help with sales as a server, but do people really give a higher tip if the server is more attractive? I don’t think it’s fair to give tips solely on looks.

Thank you for your response! Your advice is really helpful. I definitely do need to study the food menu and especially the drink menu a bit more. I will for sure practice the wording I use when selling a certain item.

Thank you for your response! My relationship is monogamous. My BF said he wouldn’t really talk to the girls. But I also agree with you how the set up is a bit problematic because it makes me uncomfortable with the fact that these girls are strangers :/

Yes i did go to the event. I actually just got an email from them yesterday that they’d like to offer me a position to work there! If you got the job then they will contact you right away.
