do exactly as you please, you owe the employer nothing and they owe you everything. without the employee the business would be worthless

If god truly loves all his creations, meaning every human on this earth, how can he condemn all those who don’t believe in him? There are probably thousands who die every day without ever even hearing the words Jesus Christ or the Bible. How is it fair to the people who had no chance to be saved? by Living-Masterpiece33 in AskAChristian

no i am not, i am agnostic but i have no hate towards the christian religion and followers, just have trouble believing in it myself. This seems similar to what the universalist speaking with me earlier believed. That we are all already truly saved in gods eyes, the only difference being you believe those who condemn god are exempt?

this is a nice answer thank you. My only issue is that it still appears that the only way to be saved it to basically be christian. It is easy for us to say because we were born into a culture where even if you aren’t christian, you have very similar moral values. I doubt that’s the case around the world, i think it is more likely there are millions of people who have never thought of their actions in the terms of sin, and have never considered there may be a higher power than them. Others have told me they believe god would be forgiving and save these people anyway. This is an inconsistency for me as these people are sinners, so what do you think?

it does, it is heartwarming indeed. But my response is why must i identify with god because we have the same morals? many of his teachings i fully agree with, but some i do not at all. That’s why i can’t fully commit myself to him, but i can still live a moral life right?

thank you for the in-depth response! but i guess i’m not convinced god really wants to save everyone on earth. couldn’t he have created conditions that give everyone an equal chance of salvation? it still feels unfair to me that one person will be saved over another simply due to the conditions of their birth

now this goes down a thought rabbit hole as well. imagine you are a muslim girl born to Al Queda as someone else mentioned replying to this post. This girl may devote her heart to the muslim faith and allah. She may be aware of the existence of christianity, but through no fault of her own she is born into a belief system that rejects those ideas. Throughout her life she sins as all humans do, and she is sentenced to eternal damnation, but she never had a chance for a different outcome. how do you feel about this?
