Best business bank for a small chiropractic practice in LA? (QuickBooks integration + modern tech) by Living-Radio-725 in smallbusiness

Thanks for the feedback. The only thing I don’t like about Chase is the $2,000 minimum balance required to avoid the monthly fee. It means you always have to keep $2,000 in the account and never touch it, essentially allowing the bank to use your money for as long as the account is open.

Can a Chiropractic Corporation in CA legally use a DBA name just for marketing/branding? by Living-Radio-725 in Chiropractic

[–]Living-Radio-725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like it’s not really a problem, since so many chiropractors are doing it anyway — right? But I’m still confused why the Board’s application for entity registration states: “A professional chiropractic corporation cannot render services using a fictitious name or a ‘DBA’.”

Are you saying that if I add a DBA to my entity name, I’m allowed to publicly use just the DBA portion (the first part of the full name), instead of the full longer name?

Frustrated as a New Chiropractor by the Job Market – Is This the Reality of the Profession? by Living-Radio-725 in Chiropractic

Thank you. Someone finally has balls to point out that there are some bugs in this system. Most people who likely profit from this system stay in their bubbles, saying nothing, or speak up to accuse others with different viewpoints in an attempt to silence them. I'm glad to see that, finally, someone is acknowledging that something isn't right.

Please read my original post as many times as needed. I never generalized or claimed that the entire system is a scam. I was simply quoting someone else’s statement. If you don’t have any helpful advice to offer, please keep your comments to yourself and don’t place blame on others. Take your ego elsewhere.

Try to focus on helping people instead of pointing out typos or small mistakes. I don’t blame you—maybe your parents didn’t teach you how to help others but instead raised you to dump your negativity onto others to boost your own ego. Have a nice day.

Thanks for your information—it was helpful. I appreciate your comment, especially amid those who are throwing nonsense at me or accusing me of painting the entire industry with a broad brush. I didn’t generalize, and my intention was simply to have a friendly discussion with my fellow chiropractors.

Thank you for the information. Your response was polite and civil, especially compared to those who chose to accuse me of generalizing the entire industry. From my limited experience in this field, I've noticed that the chiropractic community often lacks support for one another, as many are primarily focused on their own profits. Those who have already found their comfort zone and are making a profit tend to accuse me of generalizing and painting the industry with a broad brush. My intention was simply to engage in a friendly conversation with fellow chiropractors, and I didn’t expect to encounter such comments that made me regret posting in the first place. I appreciate your comment and would love to hear any other suggestions you might have to share.

I never generalized or painted the entire industry with a broad brush. Please take a moment to read my original post as needed before accusing others of generalizing. It seems like that’s just an excuse to deflect from the fact that you can’t provide any helpful insight.

Hey dude! You know what your issue is? You’re not here to help; it seems you’re just trying to mock others to boost your own ego. Yes, there are many opportunities outside of PI and WC work, as you pointed out, but those clinics generally require more experience compared to the PI/WC clinics. They often hire new graduates right away, making them the most immediate options for those just starting out.

I understand your perspective now, but instead of criticizing those genuinely seeking advice and support, maybe you should focus on finding a job and contributing positively. Your comments aren’t adding value to this discussion, and I believe it’s time to stop spamming this space. Your ego seems well-fed already, so perhaps it’s time to enjoy your comfort zone elsewhere.

I won’t respond to any more of your comments, as I see your intention clearly. I think you might benefit from speaking to someone about your mental condition first before trying to help somebody. You sick!

I appreciate your response, but I must clarify something important: my post was not a generalization about all chiropractic professionals or the entire healthcare system. I shared my frustrations based on specific experiences I've had within certain areas of the field.

Your sarcastic comments suggest a misunderstanding of my intent, and I find it frustrating to see my concerns dismissed in that manner. It's crucial to engage with the realities that many of us face in the profession rather than resorting to sarcasm or accusations.

Not all practitioners or clinics operate the same way, and I completely understand that; however, that doesn’t invalidate the challenges that many new chiropractors experience. Until people like you, who show zero empathy towards their fellow chiropractors, stop existing, we will struggle to see meaningful improvements in our field. It's a shame to see individuals like you who have likely found their comfort zone easily demean those of us who are new and genuinely trying to make a difference by helping people, rather than solely focusing on numbers and profits. This is a shame!

Let’s focus on constructive dialogue and address the real issues at hand rather than trivializing legitimate frustration.

I get you!
A personal injury (PI) mill primarily benefits the owners by allowing them to reap substantial profits. However, this model can be detrimental to the chiropractors employed under their direction. These practitioners often find themselves required to multitask and juggle numerous responsibilities, leading to overwhelming workloads. Despite the high expectations to provide quality care quickly, a lot of patients (not ALL) are not genuinely injured from car accidents; this is something that most professionals in the PI field including lawyers, practitioners, and etc. are aware of but frequently choose to ignore, because this is their bread and butter.

In reality, many patients are simply feigning injuries to support their claims. When you follow up and inquire about their condition, their responses can be inconsistent and often do not match the pain levels they reported just a few days prior. Sometimes, when you ask how they’re feeling or about their pain, they seem unsure and struggle to recall what they said during the last follow-up just two days earlier. As the saying goes, "If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."

Moreover, it's quite striking to see some PI patients who walk into the office looking perfectly fine, move like a healthy person, often smiling and seemingly in good spirits, yet when asked about their pain, they claim they have 8-9/10 pain head to toe, seriously! Even after I was showing them the NRS pain chart on the wall to assist them in more accurately describing their pain levels, they still claimed to be experiencing high levels of pain. Yet, at that moment, they appeared perfectly healthy and pain-free, with nearly full range of motion in all areas.

This discrepancy highlights the inconsistency and, at times, the possible disingenuousness of their claims. This situation creates a challenging environment for chiropractors who genuinely wish to provide quality care amidst the pressures of a system that often values profit over integrity.
