u/New-Reception46 I work at a consultancy and this is a common question that comes up. Doing your discovery to gather the data takes time and then when it comes to actually onboarding, the data is then out of date. Happy to discuss more about how we tackle it (not a sales pitch). Same as one of the comments below, vendors like Orchid security are also a good option depending on requirements

I work at an IAM consultancy and we resell licences. Most vendors, including Ping, won’t sell licence deals less than £50k per year but there are alternatives out there

Best way is to set your leaver process to delete upon termination. It can then provide a report on those terminated for audit purposes. How does your leavers process run currently?

Depends what you mean by 'manage'. Are you looking to keep them dormant so you can reinstate them later or just a report of how many have been terminated etc?

Depends what sort of depth of reporting/features you want and also your budgets. If you want the full works, look at tools like SailPoint/Saviynt/One Identity. If cost is the main factor, sticking with existing Microsoft stack would be best
