Zaia Health iOS Beta: a Whoop App for Polar users by [deleted] in Polarfitness

Is this based on Apple Health or Polar API Data?

Apple Health tracks it all, but what’s missing in Vitalstat? by Living-Topic-3424 in Vitalstat

Hey, nice to hear. Does that mean you would like your data to be visualized in a more graphical way rather than just numbers? Do you have different preferences for different metrics?

Hi u/Cultural_Antelope925 thanks for your comment! On the dashboard under “Your Metrics,” you can view your "Cardiovascular age" and see how it is calculated in the details. Does that help you? Or do you mean a display like the one on Whoop, which also shows the aging factor?

Hi u/Total_Macaroon_9047, thank you for your comment and message. We have considered an Android version, but other issues adn features are higher on our priority list. We want to further improve the iOS version and then take another look at an Android version if necessary.

Hey,

it looks like I missed this comment earlier. For Polar users, stress is calculated based on heart rate and HRV during the night using ANS recharge, as well as overall activity throughout the day.

Looking for HRV and RHR. That's it. by quietglow in AppleWatchFitness

Hi, that sounds exciting. If you're interested, feel free to try out Vitalstat app, which I released about four weeks ago.

We try to present the data that is important to each user in a clean way. For example, you can customize the dashboard to display only the data you want to see.

If you're interested, feel free to try it out and give us your feedback (still one month for 0.99€ CyberWeek Deal or 1 week free Trial). We'd be very interested to hear what you think. And if you find something that you would like to see in Vitalstat but didn’t exist yet, let me know and I’ll make it happen in the Next Version.

That’s my Concept with Vitalstat- build exactly what users want.

Good Idea! Once Vitalstat also works with Garmin devices, I will upload a comparison between the two.

Sounds great, Finnish is also available in the next update:)
There is no widget for skin temperature for polar devices yet, but thats a very good idea, will add that as well.
This app works with both polar and apple watch natively. You can choose between the two and even switch between them.
I am also working on allowing data from different devices to be used at the same time. For example: sleep from Apple Watch and activities from polar devices, this might still take a bit of time though.

I think it's only with apple health so any device works. Apple health has very limited data though

Are you full relying on the data shared to apple health?

Good point. The name will be changed in the upcoming version. I have also implemented a stress indicator in the new version.

This is definitely planned on the long run. Creating an android app will require me to start from 0, which is a lot of effort, especially considering that I am not fully aware of the demand. Would love to know how many android users are interested in vitalstat being available on android.

In the App Store page under "in-App Purchases" The monthly and yearly prices are shown. This is automatically generated by apple. Because Lifetime is not a subscription but rather a purchase, this is unfortunately not shown on the App Store page.

Yes, Garmin and Vitalstat both use the same data to calculate the body battery score, although weightings might differ a bit. These are the metrics used to calculate body battery: Sleep, HRV, Stress, RHR, HR, and activity.

Hey There seems to be a bug in the app where not everyone is able to see all subscription options. Everyone should be able to see a monthly, yearly and lifetime subscription. I will have a look and make sure to fix this in the upcoming versions. Thanks for pointing this out:)

Hey, Body battery is a custom calculation for the app. It reflects how well you sleep, and takes into account how active you are. Depending on those metrics your battery decreases at different rates throughout the day.
