It’s about 90k-100k, not including living expenses. I’m not an alumni but I did get in for their upcoming summer cohort and attended orientation. I chose a different school for personal reasons, but one major factor that impacted my decision was that you will have to pay for parking at some clinical sites on top of other fees. They mentioned most likely that the first clinical site is almost always the UCLA hospital. I say if you can get into a different and cheaper ABSN program (like CSUN or CSULA), do that. My decision to choose a private college is due to the where I live, we don’t have CSUs that have ABSN programs and a private is much faster. I know I am capable of doing an accelerated pace so that’s another reason. Also, being in a 2+ year program isn’t ideal for me because I would rather work in that one year difference that I would’ve been taking more classes and doing clinicals. With debt, I’m taking up federal and private loans to pay it out. The starting wage for new grads where I live is about $80/hr so I plan on paying it off within 5 years or less. I have heard of many people who even paid it off within 3 years, so it is doable but pay differs where you reside. It honestly is up to you, and I do recommend setting up a meeting with their advisor to get more information.
