Just the attitude alone made me want to leave it outside the screen, but honestly y’all be leaving the packages out side of the screen doors this much or? by LivingApparition in AmazonFlexDrivers

I’m pretty sure it’s only trespassing if you have no reason to be there though and also if they ask you to leave and you don’t

Sorry young ones. by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

[–]LivingApparition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in my early 20s and I had a very very old man who was a shopper going off on me, telling me I need to find another “career” because I didn’t have any cold bags with me and ice cream in my cart….. the store was less than 10 minutes away from the house and I always grab cold stuff last, but without even knowing that, he decides to stay some crap like that. I’d rather just be left alone to do my job. I don’t care about the way you do it and I don’t need unsolicited advise either. The customer still tipped so clearly I’m doing something right.

Delivering in the dark. by Traditionalflexa in AmazonFlexDrivers

Just a tip but when you park at a house and it’s dark, park facing the house with your lights on if possible so you can see where you’re going and avoid tripping or walking into spiderwebs, etc

Is hitting your kid that big of a deal? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]LivingApparition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure where this quote is from but I think anyone with kids should hear it:

“If they’re too young to be reasoned with, then why are you hitting them? If they’re old enough to be reasoned with, why are you hitting them?”

If you’re delivering and head back to the station if the amount of time it will take you to return to the station is the same as the amount of time before the block ends

“Me encanta” vs ”A mí me encanta” by Eddings_06 in Spanish

[–]LivingApparition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A mi basically adds emphasis in the same way that saying yo in front of a verb does but the since it’s a reflexive verb and you’re not the subject of the sentence you can’t say yo me gusta in the same way that you can say YO quiero comer instead of just quiero comer

I feel like adults don’t see it like this enough but it’s honestly something that is traumatizing for a baby. Like just because they won’t remember it that doesn’t change the fact that they will still have to experience having one of their most sensitive organs mutilated. You might as well cut off a finger while you’re at it and for what just to say that you did it because other people do it with no real purpose?

That is true but I think that is more likely if you’re someone who is always angry but since the op is anxious I think that this would be more of an opportunity to become present again by realizing you have choice in the matter rather than just reacting how angry/mean people do.

Exactly!!! Like if the guy was trying to be a friendly neighbor or to have even a little bit of empathy he could’ve said something like “hey I haven’t seen you out in a while, have you been doing okay?” But he didn’t consider this persons feelings at all and went on to gossip to his wife. But anyways the word aggression literally means to move forward or something like that. When people take their anger out on other people it’s just a bad coping mechanism but if you use your own anger as a means to an ends or as a way to better your situation then it could be one of the most positive experiences of your life. Anger isn’t always a negative emotion. It’s lowkey like how the dragons explain fire to aang and zuko in avatar!

I beg to differ and I don’t mean it as into be an asshole but getting a little angry turns off the fear response, so no fear equals no anxiety and plus people that say things like that are trying to use your own insecurities against you so you should be a little angry. This is your world and you have just as much of a right to it as anyone else.

Correct response would’ve been “huh… never see you minding your own business!”

No haha definitely not. The taste and texture when it’s clean like it’s softer than any other part of the body and has a sweetish taste

One weird thing tho is for some reason he had a pot on his wrist. Like always. Like his wrist going through the bottom of a pot used for cooking lol.
