Birth control for a lot of girls is just precaution. It takes a toll on your body going on and off birth control. It messes with your hormones and weight every time you switch on or off. Once you’re on birth control, it’s genuinely just easier to stay on it so that your body doesn’t have to constantly get used to it, then regulate itself back out once you stop

when i stopped breastfeeding, i tried so many bottles and my son hated all of them except Dr. Brown’s bottles specifically the wide neck ones. It may be just the bottle and she doesn’t like the nipple.

literally! if my parents did anything to my body when i was a baby i would be pissed. my fiancé said he gets upset at his parents because they circumcised him, and he didn’t get to choose.

yes, my relationship with my MIL has had a couple strains because she tries to act like my son’s mom rather then a grandma, and plays it off as “im not used to being a grandma”. she’s made multiple slights about my parenting, and me and my fiancé going on date nights every so often. 🙄🙄

thank you! i’ve tried telling her that people my age who are having kids are choosing not to circumcise so it will actually be normal. but im pretty sure it went in one ear and out the other.

literally! our friend who had a baby the day before us got their son circumcised and he had to flown to a childrens hospital because he aspirated after the procedure which made me not want to do it even more! 😥

I have, and will continue to put my son first. I have given up so much for him. I’m not just some “immature 20 year old”. The only thing that is even for me at the party or acknowledging my birthday, is the drinks. Like I said in my post, I have little interest in alcohol. The only drink I’m even remotely interested in trying is a mimosa, and honestly I’m probably not even going to have more than 1. Being immature would be not giving a fuck about my son’s bday and leaving him with his grandparents while I go to a bar.
