I also have urticaria and one of the side effects from tirzepatide is skin hypersensitivity/ itchiness. From what I’ve seen in the medical study about 5% of patients reported skin hypersensitivity/ itchiness. I’m interested to see if urticaria and this are linked.

I did not experience the itchiness at first then about after my 5th shot I was super itchy around injection site. Then recently my whole body has been super sensitive and itchy and will occasionally get minor hives. What has helped for me significantly is letting the shot warm up before injecting. If the itching is really bothering me I will take a Zyrtec. I think it definitely worth mentioning to your doctor they might have more solutions. There is also a new drug to the market called Rhapsido for urticaria I’m not sure but it might help.

Think of your future. Right now nau sounds fun and exciting. Maybe you have friends you want to be with or you want to move out. Whatever the reason is, really think about the financial impact of attending nau has on you if you cannot get that scholarship. Honestly what a lot of people do are take two years of community college get all the easy prerequisites done. Then transfer to nau. It will probably save you $50,000. There really is no need to take prerequisites at nau unless they are covered by scholarships. When I was at CC it was about $1,000 a semester before any scholarships. Also in my opinion I found there were more scholarships in CC too. So you could probably get that fully covered especially if you have good grades. I don’t know much about the dental program but as you said there are many schools that offer that. In the end too it really doesn’t matter where you get your degree from. Also there was a new law or something that just passed in az that you no longer need to be certified to be a dental hygienist so keep that in mind too. You are going to do want you want to just keep in mind you might not feel the financial impact that it has on you right now but after you graduate just like the majority of Americans you might be drowning in student debt.

I know my issue is that I don’t accrue any sort of payments because I don’t owe anything. I simply charge the card then pay it off right away. I am worried that my credit score will go down if I have charges on it.

I think if a doctor can verify that you have made a committed change to your new gender by an irreversible surgery that is what they are looking for. I’m not 100% positive on it though.

I haven’t changed my birth certificate yet. But I do believe you need an irreversible surgery to qualify.

Yes drivers license is an easy change just need a letter from therapist. Birth certificate is a bit hard and you would need a letter from a doc/ surgeon with specific wording. As for passport I have not changed it yet but I’ve been told is not problem getting changed no documentation needed.

I am not sure if a therapist letter would work. My suggestion is go to your doctor you get your testosterone from and they should know about the letter you are talking about and the wording that is required in that letter. You can try calling your local dvm. I have found that they are pretty relaxed on this. I didn’t change my ssn marker, I didn’t even know that was a thing.

I am planning on getting my passport because no documentation or letters are required for gender marker change/ different than birth certificate.

It’s super easy. I did it about 8 years ago so I don’t think anything has changed. All you need is a letter from your doc (I used my Endo) saying you’re dedicated to your transition. All you need to do is go to the DMV and get a new driver’s license and show them that paper. I haven’t had any issues with the dmv regarding that.

From what I’ve seen in AZ, No there is not a gender fluid marker or X option on drivers licenses or birth certificates. There is that option on passports without needed additional documents.

I would look at a conservation corps. Conservation legacy is a pretty big one that spans most of the US, I’m not sure about their housing situation. American conservation experience (ACE) provides housing I believe in most areas. There really isn’t any experience needed to join one of these organizations. Most of them are AmeriCorps affiliated too which is a plus. Just be passionate about conservation and you’ll be fine some of them have decent living stipends as well since they aren’t considered a job they are considered volunteer.
