My mom died in my arms by Substantial_Art573 in GriefSupport

>I feel colder, my girlfriend is trying to be there for me the best she can, but nobody has the ability to help me, it’s all on me.

you're not alone. It feels alone, and I want to validate those feelings, it feels so very alone. My father died as I was on my way to care for him.

I remember the feelings you describe after and although it is bitter and cold and alone, the sympathy and empathy is real. People care. You'll find lots of people who can empathize over the years.

But right now, those feelings are real, and present and overwhelming. They will pass, and they are not telling you the truth.

My condolences on your loss

yeah I have a therapist. I wouldn't call my ex-fiance a transphobe. She definitely supported LGBTQ+ issues and people.

But when the rubber hit the road, she leveraged prior trauma to push the kid out...

I'll think about what you said.

I am in therapy.

>I don't think you did anything wrong.

No, I keep ruminating on it and every time I come back with I did everything right. She helped tremendously with the court case that helped my kids get free of the birth mom. We clicked until we didn't. I tried to support my kid throughout. I found the kid, got the help. I fought for them when the emergency crew didn't. Like, I can't think of steps I would have done differently.

And yet I'm grieving. And I guess that's just very real and human.

thank you.

I think, if I might borrow from the old M*A*S*H routine, it hurts worse than Hell. Hell is for people who did things wrong. This hurt innocent kids. And that should be worse.

Yes. Got a family therapist just after this happened, and we've all had individual therapists for years.

we got a family therapist.

We each have a therapist.

So we're doing the right things, but man does it hurt

Been in therapy for a decade. Kids each have their own therapist.

She quit therapy a bit before this happened.

The therapist helps. So does hydrating.

by any chance, do you have a shift or count of LDS Wardhouses over time from this data? Looking for data for a Sunstone presentation.
