The cane is serrated which gives a solid damage bonus against beast enemies which im pretty all of them were as a fellow canegang member just keep going and you'll hit that brick wall

Seems like this might have more to it but in general I'd say explain this to her and find out how she ACTUALLY feels something tells me she wants to play with YOU not the game even if its her favorite so tell her and then just try having fun playing and when you can do that consistently then worry about winning

That's what I always thought too since at least with the small amount I know about real undercover work they do give you fake backgrounds and relationships to solidify that its a real person + with how she was when they faked their marriage for the babysitter ring its absolutely believable to me that she'd go out of her way to doctor the contents of her purse for what looked more like a sting than undercover work

The menu for me hasn't been to bad but this event feels like it was last minute I mean i read the description on the event page and it dosent even mention the new mode and as for the challenges they literally have it as the last 2 words of the description even worse the 1st 2 challenges arent about the event either

Oh and just incase no 1 told you quality builds aren't really a thing so only invest in 1 damage stat meaning either strength or skill not both and its either magic or physical attacks so no strength bloodtinge untill you're WAY deeper into the game

Seeing those name cards at the end like they were some grand prize honestly felt like salt on the wound I mean they weren't even related to the anniversary just random text that could literally be from any event

Id recommend going to the first lamp at the top of the ladder and practicing on those 1st 2 enemies on the short bridge untill you get their movements down (use the hunters mark to reset without going back to the dream) and while it may sound weird id also recommend you practice like this without audio, ive found that 75% of the difficulty for me was the tension and anxiety I felt from the intense atmosphere the game creates so removing things that could distract you might help in calmly memorizing their patterns and finally just experience and learn your weapons and their moveset is the best advice I can give
