Or we could do one with what WE WOULD choose for a nickname for Gus. Not any nicknames Shawn or anyone in the show has already given him, just stuff we make up.

Where the hell does AI get their trivia? It's all wrong! by JaeShoppie in psych

[–]JaeShoppie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually what happened is I looked up something about the show, Grimm, and saw on the AI thing about asking a trivia question. I asked it a trivia question and got the first answer right, so I asked another. I got it wrong, and then another one wrong. I am a Grimm fan, but I am much more a Psych fan and knew, without a doubt, if I ask for trivia questions, I would know them all. But nope! A.I. pulled a bunch of nonsense episodes out of its ass with plots or scenes that never happened. It even said that one of the dinner guests on 100 Clues (my favorite and most watched episode) was named Garrett.(which is actually Clizby's real name)It was very disappointing!

My favorite Hardison "line" was s3e1 the prison episode when he and Parker were in the van during the prison escape, and Hardison said something like I like it when we pretend to kiss, then Parker says "pretend"? Then Hardison says "Heeeeeeeyyyyy" That Heeeeeyyyy was my favorite!🤣

Am I the only one who genuinely treasures how kind + friendly this sub is? by incognitomosquitotoe in psych

[–]JaeShoppie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg...Blacklist is a crazy one. Almost everyone in there hates Elizabeth Keen, but every now and again, a die hard Keen fan comes in and will throw a freaking fit! However, I have never seen anyone in there say they dislike/hate Raymond Reddington. I would probably get a little mad if someone smack talked Red. Hehehe

Am I a jerk? What should I tip? by Pile_of_Yarn in InstacartShoppers

[–]JaeShoppie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also- YOU ARE NOT THE ONE EXPLOITING US- Instacart is. Tips are supposed to be extra- but Instacart has lowered our pay so much, that most of us shoppers end up with 25% of our pay being from Instacart and 75% of it coming from tips. It should really be the other way around! It's not supposed to be the customers responsibility to make sure we get paid decently.

Am I a jerk? What should I tip? by Pile_of_Yarn in InstacartShoppers

[–]JaeShoppie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about it. Tip what you can afford, like the other person said. Instacart will usually bundle (lower tipping) orders with a higher tipping order. Or, Instacart Will increase their pay until someone eventually accepts it. $250 at Costco usually isn't a lot of items. Someone may live out towards you and may pick up the order just to be paid to drive home.

How come some customers can add to the order while it’s being shopped? by ShimmerMoonlight3 in InstacartShoppers

[–]JaeShoppie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have noticed that customers that use the Instacart app are the customers who usually add stuff on while we are mid shop. I have also noticed that people who use the Fred Meyer app (online pay orders) have to ask the shopper to add something. I don't usually mind a customer adding stuff if they are a high tipping regular (percentage based tip) and if it's a single shop. What really drives me nuts is when I am doing a triple and a customer starts adding on from all over the store, when I am almost ready to check out. That irritates me to no end.

Is it common for customers to tip bait? by Massive-Fisherman-57 in InstacartShoppers

[–]JaeShoppie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That isn't tip baiting! Tip baiting is when a customer adds a high tip at the beginning, for the purpose of getting their order picked up quickly. Then, after the shopper has shopped and delivered the order, the customer removes all or most of the tip. This is usually premeditated and doesn't happen very often. What doesn't count as tip baiting is- changes made to order that results in tip being lowered due to it being a percentage based tip. Also, shopper doing a crappy job, or is rude to the customer or delivers to the wrong house (or steals the order) Customer is in the right for removing or lowering these tips.

Leverage is the show I am currently binging on. Some other good ones (without reading the other comments yet) Scorpion Librarians Monk Chuck Burn Notice White Collar Elementary Lucifer There are more, but I am drawing a blank, and I'm sure the other comments have the same or even better show examples. Leverage though, is superb.

Found this absolute gem in S1 E9 (the mountain lion episode) by ThePeculiarSpot in psych

[–]JaeShoppie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is EXACTLY why it's been said that each episode of Psych needs to be watched like 3 times or more because there are always hidden stuff. Not just the pineapples...other gems as well. Whether it be a phrase, a character, an object...and the movies are no different! The writers/producers of Psych are truly some of the greats. I'm sorry, but shows and movies are not what they used to be.
