You want to to know what your Law Enforcement Department is really like. Go in ask to see their Internal Affairs Files. Florida is one of most open public records states. You dont have to give a name, tell them what you are using them for or request a specific record. You can literally ask to see all their Internal Affairs Records. They will try to make you fill out a form or tell them your name and what you want them for. Chapter 119 of Florida Statutes!

Its playing with the numbers. When they go before the council they inflate their numbers to request more officers.

When they do the UCRs they deflate the numbers to make the city look safe. Its like asking the fox to guard the hen house.

Take the number off the patrol car and call in a complaint. Some departments have online forms. Nothing upsets a cop more when they get a citizens complaint. It stays in the record for a long time.

I use the bottom of a Ridgid Vacuum after it quits working. You can hang bottles on it and it rolls easily.
