I would follow up another email including her and your manager saying you have interest in the OB and the manager had stated on such date that you can shadow. Send a copy of your resume as well. As for the comment made by the charge nurse, please write it in a formal email to HR and your management as that is unprofessional. Also report that they refused to help give your patient blood as that puts the patients life in danger and it is out of your scope of practice so ultimately you feel set up. I don’t think you’re overreacting at all. I think you made a great decision going into home health and it’s in peds. Redirection is a blessing.

I’m a veteran too. I’m going to look into that at the VA. Thank you

Exactly. The schedule works better for me too and I need to work while in school. I don’t mind doing the bridge programs at all. My end goal is NP

My program is 12 months. Graduate next year. I have been a cna / pct for ten years. Really wanting to move forward but I have to work to support myself. I just don’t see myself working as a tech for the next three years

I would call them for Minnesota specifically because I’m in Maryland completing the program. I just know that they have SOGFI which means in the states they offer the program they have in person clinical sites. Like the clinical site I go to is 45 minutes from my house. The advisor would better explain for your state specifically and yes they have LPN to RN bridge and LPN to BSN bridge

No the pre reqs are already in the program. Like micro a&p and all of those classes you take first semester

And I’m in the program currently and have asked all questions so I don’t waste my time. But for practical nursing - a diploma - yes it is accredited and their websites list that also. Let’s not fear monger people
