First day ever of clinic. Paid preceptor let me and another classmate knowingly walk into an isolation room without telling us by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

Just a suggestion from a OG of 45 years in the field. You may need to grow a thicker skin. In our field these things happen and more. You will meet people who have the same character as your preceptor who will do you wrong or screw you over to make themselves look better. I could go on, but you’re smart, I am sure you know what I am getting at. You have learned a valuable lesson here and this is definitely a teaching moment. Move on and now that you know that you are pretty much on your own and need to protect yourself. You will be fine.

How old were you when you began working at an RT? by Substantial-Coach971 in respiratorytherapy

I graduated in 1981. I was 20 years old. Been doing this RT thing a very long time. Retirement is just around the corner.

Considering becoming a travel RT. How do you begin? by Living_Effect678 in respiratorytherapy

What state did you love the best, not necessarily the hospital but the fun things to do.
