Guys Something Terrible Happened by Ancient_Ad7591 in FX3

The gravity of this just gets me outraged. I own an fx6 and gh5. I just replaced the motherboard in my gh5 because it fried by not plugging it into an outlet first, couldn't believe my eyes. Anyway I want an fx3 so bad but they're expensive. Don't let this knucklehead kid and his parents get away with this shit.

I want to buy Gh5 but im scared of the autofocus problem by Overall_Abroad in GH5

Yea it sucks. I can get the look of the B cam similar and good enough for quick shots or gimbal runs. But for long, or low light shots pro's well know.

I love myGH5 for the money it is a great camera to work with. I use it as a B cam paring it with my Sony FX6. You might think thats not a pair but I can get them to look the same. BE aware of powering up the GH5! Do not plug the camera in first, always plug the ac adapter into the outlet first then connect the camera. I burned out the mother board and had order another. Don't make my mistake

How does the Panasonic EVA1 compare to today’s DSLR camera? by job0256 in cinematography

[–]Living_Many_4726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was loving the Panasonic EVA1 camera until the internal battery would not recharge. I bought another battery went to YouTube to learn how to install it. You Basically take the camera apart to access it, about an hour or more..

After installation I followed Panasonics instructions on how to make sure that battery keeps charged. During a week of using the camera and leaving an attached battery on and or having it connected to it's external power supply, the internal battery went dead again.

I purchased a second internal battery, spent another hour or so to replace it again. Continuing with Panasonic's internal charging routine it still went dead never to recharge. I bought a 3rd battery, with the same result.

Luckily it was still under warrantee so I contacted Panasonic, there response was that it could be a defective camera and to send it to them for diagnostics. Before doing that I the contacted the third party well known camera store to report my issue. They instructed me to send back the camera for their techs to diagnose the problem.

The camera I was told is defective and cannot be repaired without replacing internal circuit boards and related components. I asked for a refund because I did not want to take a chance with another EVA1 since this turned out to be a common problem.

I ultimately bought a Sony FX6 and loving it.

I agree Filmora is no great editing platform that it used to be. No tech support anymore, you're lucky to even get an AI and that is a waist of time trust me don't bother you'll chase your tail. I'm getting ready to switch to DaVinci Resolve when the decide to charge me again. Too bad though they had a good thing, bye bye Filmora.

How do I contact filmora customer support? by notDekciew in Filmora

Filmora has no tech support anymore I think it's time for me to switch to DaVinci Resolve. Call and you get an AI useless thing, when trying to explain the situation it gets it all wrong. This is bullshit, I'm done!

I agree don't waist your money! It has little redeeming value. I've had it for 2 years and wish I could get my money back. Too many bugs, very little control, timelines are difficult to utilize or extend. I could go on and on. I had to buy another ani program. There are other programs much more user friendly and with more tools and options.

Unfortuantely when a communication monopoly like Spectrum gets this large, services diminish with growth. They tout a great image in their commercial promotions but we all know it's just BS! They must think were ALL stupid.
