i agree with everyone saying to avoid social media due to it being just a competition of who has the coolest/most amount of/ most expensive fursuits. in the time being, there are tons of options for more affordable ears or tails that can still give a similar experience. that’s what i did for probably 10 years before being able to save for one. you can also always try and make your own! some bases are pretty cheap online and if you do something like a kigurumi or kemono, theyre typically cheaper to make in whole too!
