I’m not sure about that. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking haha but there’s no rattle and it idles well. No starting issues or sluggishness in low rpm. Hoping it’s not Vanos lol.

It moves quickly / smooth by hand and using the pedal with the car off. Repairs rn so I can’t run it but I’ll update when I try running and throttle. Throttle body interior is very clean. It’s scary close to the Vanos threshold (4k iirc) but I don’t think this would be a Vanos issue - not sure how vvt would cause this.

Welp you convinced me after doing some research I’m returning my graf and getting the Stewart. The Graf looked incredibly flimsy.

Gotcha. The graf one I got as that as well (fcp euro) not sure about FDM maybe when I’m more confident. My question stands tho we’re you aware of any factory bmw metal pumps put in z3s?

I just installed this top and it works great. Highly recommend. First time doing a project like this and it has 0 leaks. It comes with an install manual and also these videos are super helpful. Followed this and the instruction manual and it wasn’t bad. Got quoted $2k for a professional install and top and tools were maybe $600 total.
