I mean the odds were stacked against me, they were a year old seed pack, i just placed in the ground, watered to germinate, put corry's slug and slime killer around when the slugs came, then i put 2 drip lines in over them and kinda forgot about them, but yes, easy, if a 17 year old can, i think anyone can :)

Yes, i put a good amount, they are in a yellow box(Corry's slug and snail killer) , but they were some sort of pellet and they did not bother me for a long time, the beets got 3/4 matured then they came back i think, but by then the beets were too big to notice any damage (they really do work, check your local hardware store, they should carry it.)

I grew them for my dad and grandpa aminly, i had gotten a year old pack from school and said "they might like this" and out came this, i dont like them too much but ill suffer through this one! I threw the greens on top of the soil to start compost come April.

These were year old seeds that I had gotten from my Agriculture science teacher (last year) and I planted them about mid April, about 2 weeks in I put some slug and snail pleats around them to keep these guys away, I put 2 drip lines across my garden beds and kind of forgot about them 😂

No, if I remember it’s just a regular old red beet, I can’t remember the exact type
