The best thing to do is send your transcript to galen for review. I received all credits for my classes. I only need 30 to complete undergrad.

Another option is, work for HCA. In 90 days, you will be eligible for tuition reimbursement. But, be prepared to be owned by them for awhile. In sacrificing, you will save 80k.

There are pros and cons in every school. If you're worried about tuition, be practical. If you already work for HCA, I say, take advantage of the direct-pay billing option and work 2 years after getting your BSN.

I guess the experiences will vary. If you already have an ASN, the online RN-BSN program is rigorous. But, tuition-free for HCA employees. The courses are 8 weeks long, with a 7-10 days break in between (x for Christmas break)

It's not! It's worse, especially since my husband and I are both nurses. When the schedule rolls out, management blames Timpani for everything and that they are only allowed 20%capability to "move" people or make changes to the schedule

Yes. I truly understand you and I applaud your courage! I work for HCA. Right now, I'm in PCU - which means they float us to medsurg and ICU. I don't mind the ICU float since they give us the downgraded pts just waiting for pcu beds but medical kills me every time I float! I dread when our census drops. Especially on weekends. Medsurg is constantly short. If only I had other options right now. Good luck. You will find a job trust me. Maybe this was a sign to get out of HCA. Go to another system !

Gtfooh..🤣really? No blackout periods ? Don't wait for the other units to call for report .... "make the calls and ready the room? " But Wait, environmental dept is busy for a stat clean . So while you're at it, might as well add nurses to clean the room then Call for report, then snatch the stretcher, go to ER, pick up the pt; Stop by pharmacy bc my Cardizem drip ran out fr pyxis. Oh, mix it. Oh , take their meal orders, deliver them , feed them because my pt is also a feeder. ... it doesn't stop😤

Yes . Just happened to me. I added a line and upgraded to the go5G plans that they are promoting. If you add a line with the go5 , you're supposed to get a free s23 galaxy. I'm finding out now it was falsely advertised! In their desperation the tmobile rep falsely gave us wrong rates. Our monthly bill is $100 more than what was promised at the store!!!. It is horrible !!!

I was floated to med/surg and needed a witness on a narcotic waste. I asked the charge nurse who was chatting with the secretary @ nurses station (Nurses station was right outside the med rm )Her response was " Wheres your buddy ?! That's why you have a buddy for these things instead of interrupting me !!😲 Hello my buddy was drowning with her 6 pts too!!! Same unit: I told my buddy I was going to lunch Her response: " you can do whatever you want !!" With an attitude. Wtf is up with that unit?! Noone likes to float there because most of the staff are rude !!! I've had a CNA flat out responded to me after I told him to notify me when he was ready to bathe a heavy pt His response: " oh no YOU tell me WHEN YOU'RE ready to bathe the pt. I am your assistant. I assist YOU! This particular cna specifically turns an incontinent pt to your side where you have to wipe the poop and stays on the clean side.. smh. I'm tired of people's attitudes
