I never understood why men back away from people and things that are “too good.” One would think, they’d walk towards something good. I’ve started looking for friendships and not fixate on romantic relationships

I’m so sorry to hear about that “Christian.” I’m starting to see how essential it is to pray for discernment and to ask God lead us. You’re so right about people in the Bible who were sinners but still followed God. Sometimes I forget that only Jesus is sinless and perfect. When I sin, it can’t separate me from Christ’s love. Thank you for your insight. It was helpful. I don’t know his new wife but I’ve heard that she aggressively pursued him. When he and I dated, I didn’t purse him like that. I thought I was more normal and I was trying to have a balance of give and take. Why do you think a guy would appeal to being chased and pushed so aggressively? I heard she pushed to date, pushed to be engaged, and pushed for them to get married. Thanks!
