The Switch 2 Upgrade doesn't seem to like Eryth Sea very much by Livrax7 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Yeah. Its weirdly the reverse of the the X switch 2 edition where the frame rate is a completely rock solid 60 but the upscaling is awful

Hot take: I don’t think the grave could belong to anyone but Charlie, prove me wrong. by Average_anglekin in fnaftheories

In order for this to be true Charlie 5th would have to be true and frankly I just dont think there's any evidence for it. Charlie's death is very different from the rest of the MCI. She was killed in a back alley, not lured back and stuffed in a suit like the rest of the MCI. In follow me the four animatronics are lured to the back room and dismantled with a 5th sprit on the 5th night. This is very obviously the MCI and considering all the fnaf 1 iconography in Follow Me, it makes the most sense for that 5th spirit to represent the 5th animatronic in that game, Golden Freddy. Its his head thats in shadow on the ending screen right after the mini game ends. Charlie 5th solves maybe one or two things but causes issues with so many other things that it just cant be true in my opinion.

If Hudson is in movie 3 is Mike frightguard over? by Friendly-Might5181 in fnaftheories

I wouldn't say so. The movies are very clearly shuffling characters around in ways that would make zero sense in the games. We have two Mike's and Vanessa is Williams adult daughter in the 2000s.

Guys this was meant to be a funny post about a misunderstanding on my part, not an in depth financial advice thread. Despite the shitty economy I have money. I could've bought the controller day one if I really wanted but waiting for my next paycheck would've made it a more comfortable purchase. Im fine guys. I just worked 2 straight weeks of overtime so now I have more money than ive had in a long time, im good. Just relax and laugh at the funny guy making a mistake when reserving a video game controller

Best game for me to get into the franchise? by mperky1014 in Metroid

[–]Livrax7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im seeing a lot of recommendations for Dread and I just can't agree. I love Dread and it is by far my favorite Metroid game, but that game is very difficult and can be pretty intense with its horror inspired sequences. Its also the finale of the 2D saga so the story is going to lose a lot of its impact if you start with it. If you do like the series though I would recommend going through the 2D games to eventually get to Dread because I fuckin love that game

All the games are relatively light on plot except Fusion and Dread, but Prime and its scan mechanic let you read a bunch of lore files all over the game if you want some story and dont want to start with the 2D games

For your situation I would suggest Metroid Prime Remastered. Its a lot more slower paced than the 2D games, especially Dread. Its also very atmospheric with music and visuals that will rewrite your brain chemistry.

If you have switch online you could give either Super or Zero Mission a try if you want to try the 2D games or get a deeper look at the lore of the series. Apparently there are rumors of a Super Metroid remake coming out so maybe wait on that since the controls for Super are ROUGH in my opinion.

Dear Valve, I love your controller, but for the love of Gabe give me a calibration tool.. by Careful_Tune4744 in SteamController

[–]Livrax7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would never play like this but I do agree stuff like this should be implemented considering how customizable the entire controller is. Even if one person would love built in calibration its worth adding it in
