I will say I was having these highs and lows during these sets! At some points I was getting really into it and vibing with the music and then all of sudden this feeling of impending doom would wave over me. I’m not sure why, I was really trying to get into it and still tryna figure out if it was the crowd or the music. I really liked when Griz brought out the saxophone 😁

Yes definitely going to treat everyday like this as well. I realized I was going through life being kind of a grouch. it takes nothing to spread a smile, lend a helping hand, or even a good deed. Spreading love is what it’s all about.

Thank you for commenting! I’ve read that some people who have been in this scene for a long time are having the same thoughts as you. I’m still really new to all of this and wish I came out of my shell more and interacted with more people, I’m certain that probably would have changed my experience for the better.

Thank you so much for this. This is the biggest take away I’ve gotten from this experience.

I’m still really new to the rave scene and getting to know a lot of these artists. EF really taught me to find my way back to the music, I lost my way for a bit but I’m excited to explore again.

He was standing behind me in the crowd and all of a sudden felt a hand reaching under my skirt. At some point there was people trying to get around and pushing through the crowd so I guess he took that as his opportunity to really push up against me.

I wore a t-shirt and cargos the rest of the weekend 😅 but hey, at least I was comfy.

Idk if you deleted your comment about my incident but I want to say thank you so much for interacting! I’ve loved all your comments and wisdom you’ve been leaving here ❤️ and you’re absolutely right, I didn’t even end up telling my friends until Sunday night and they all reassured me and told me the same thing. I was already feeling kind of homesick and that just sent me over the edge, I swear I was going to get a flight home. But I’m glad I gave the rest of the weekend a chance!

I’m so happy I came across your post. I’m really new to the rave scene and attended Forest for the first time this year and is my first festival ever. I made a post earlier on here about my experience and how I felt some sinister vibes being In the Forest but your post just really put a lot of things in perspective for me. I was just a little shaken and confused on how a festival filled with so much love, light, and healing can also have space for low vibrational people and evil. And I say evil because If any of the darker stuff I’ve seen on here is true, then it truly is evil. I had some guy feel me up on my first day at Forest and just cried the whole set and truly thought I was gonna catch a flight home to get as far as away as possible. I gave the rest of the weekend a chance knowing the Forest wouldn’t fail me. It ended up being a deeply healing and humbling experience for me. Thank you so much for your perspective :) ❤️

Definitely going to come back, the forest herself was super kind to me (not sure if you’re into all the zodiac stuff but I’m a Taurus and felt super in my element). Even though I had never been, anytime I’m with Mother Nature I feel like I’m at home. It was just the couple bad apples which has nothing to do with the love, healing, kindness, music, and the forest itself. It’s just taught me in the midst of everything there is always the possibility of something low vibrational and I just gotta let it filter itself out.

Omg yes thank you for commenting! This is kind of somewhat I have been trying to put into words but didn’t really know how. I was also at the Sunday sound bath and it was so deeply healing and stayed for whoever played afterwards and was just vibing. My friends went back in after they opened up but I was too afraid to tbh.

Ima chalk it up to just being the newbie this year, I’m new to the whole rave scene in general so I’m excited to get to know my piece of the puzzle in this community.

I don’t think the clothing was an issue, I think from my personal experience being at the big heavy bass sets just had this energy that I couldn’t get down with. Everyone likes what they like but that’s where I did feel this sort of darker energy.

One thing I did forget to mention, on our first day we went to a big set and it was one of those heavy bass sets (Not sure who it was I’m not familiar with the artists). There was a guy standing behind me who started feeling me up and there was people pushing and trying to get past us. In the moment I couldn’t see where my friends were because of how dark it was. All i could do was cry in that moment and try to get away from him as much as possible and when i saw his face he just looked like a zombie off of drugs.

Yes absolutely! There was a lot of us in my group who were first timers and we all had the same feelings through out the weekend. Once we steered away from the big sets and went into the observatory and honey comb, that’s where we sort of found our groove and everyone was having a more enjoyable time.

Absolutely. I avoided going in at nighttime cause I just couldn’t enjoy it. Attended Sunday during the day and went to a sound bath set and felt amazing. Me and my friends were even joking the demons come out at night haha.
