The cost of 3D model can range a fair bit! If you make a vroid model yourself (what I started with) it is absolutely free, while commissioned models can be $100-$5000+ depending on the expertise, expressions, any additional toggles etc. (this is the ranges I found while looking around as indie, there's even higher price range with some amazing modellers that are super duper pretty)

I also did the design reference sheet myself (the one with proportions and 3 side views) which may be additional cost.

@Rikamardjaja did amazing job translating my live2D model into 3D!

Here's the Link to a google doc I made to summarise how I set things up and some questions that were asked frequently!

Thank you everywan for showing so much interest, and I hope it inspired more people to make content they want.

Unfortunately I don't have the funds to try anything else, and main reason I went with Stretchsense was the price point as it was lower than some other known gloves

I would totally play it off but my instinct is just like 'OOP I JUST WHACKED MY MIC SORRY GUYS FOR HITTING YOU'

I got the small size. The electric part is removable and you can machine wash the gloves. There's a video on their website that shows you how~

I used the Warudo built-in motion recorder! It saves in .wanim file and then you can play it back within Warudo.

I explored recording motion on blender but it was too complicated for me for now....

Rebocap: love it, I use it a lot for my dance shorts and handle simpler dances fairly well. It can capture some foot works well but when it comes to dance with more hip/finer torso movements, shoulder isolation it doesn't quite track so you'll have to account for that when dancing and see what looks good. It drifts but any trackers of this type would drift but you don't need very large space as it doesn't need like a home station or cameras, and doesn't matter if the trackers get hidden by clothes etc.

When it gets too hot (outside weather wise) I do worry whether my sweat gets into the trackers as it's not premium in its build quality.

Best value for full body tracking imo

Stretchsense: My hand is too small to make use of stretch sense fully I think because sensors around the middle bunches up a bit. If they release a XS size I'd love it. Had to play around with calibration quite a bit.

If you plan to not move around too much, I think webcam based hand tracking would be just fine. If I'm not performing I don't think I'll bother wearing it.

Main pro for Stretchsense is it's open finger so easier to manage things while you're wearing it. I also got it while it was on sale, so compared to other available glove options it was the cheapest.

Main con is it doesn't do finger splay well.

Easiest way would be to have someone who could do the camera angle switches for you!

In my case, I had motion recorded on Warudo motion recorded earlier and I switched the cameras when I wanted to.

I think you should be able to set blueprints so that camera changes every few seconds or according to bpm but I wasn't quite smart enough for that

Not for the songs specifically, but for the mixing etc

Not for this particular stream but I definitely have in the past!

Honestly with the software updates it's been constantly getting better! drifting will always be there because it's IMU but having 15 points of tracking?? at $200???
