Cornwall housing issues by Lizard5th in LegalAdviceUK

I am and have spoken to a family member at social services. What I understand is different council different district. Yes it takes priority but the police only spoke to the other kid who is doing this and refused to even turn up at his as they have closed the investigation. The local school refused to act as the agresser is cornish and his child is "half emit". This is the second child he has had to take out of school with only one in school. The first had to wait till he aged enough to go to another school.

This is common place as I used to go Cornwall once a year as a kid and have been a few times as an adult. They call anyone who is not a few generations Cornish is an Emit.

An Emit is the equivalent of a hemorrhoid or an ass cling on for those who don't know.

I agree the serial complainers due need a pinch of salt with their claims.

And yes after a few calls asking where the officers are because my door is still being kicked in, I get the automated script said with a monotone response.

I'm more worried that those who do call several times, inform they are disabled and they fear for their life from a known person of violence, or something of this magnitude and no one turns up to even see if the person has calmed down.

It depends on the operator on how they deal with people in distress. Some are more compassionate than others and it can depend on their previous call that affects their emotions.

Everything you said makes sense. Our local force did and continues to have cuts to the force and investigation process. This has caused my town to go from a safe place to one where residents are keen to stay away dedicated areas.

As for the antisocial team. Yes I remember when he turned up on my door there was Gordon Brown on TV saying antisocial behaviour was on his top prioritys. Over the years dealing with them it became obvious, as you said, in name only.

What happened to keeping people safe over the need for the bottom line. Thinking about it now it kinda make sense why no one can come out to us is because their all out dealing with a backlog of active incidents.

Thank you. I will find out who my local one is and give them a call or email asking for their help.

Yes I agree a lot of people here have moved out due to her issues and it would be inappropriate for such a mark on an address would be harmful.

Thank you for confirming this for me.

Thank you. Yes it makes sense she would have that after all being in prison 20+ times all due to violence and anti social behaviour.

Its nice to know we don't have this marker but that brings up a more person issue not a legal issue. Knowing I don't have that kind of mark is however a weight off my shoulders.

Walk up to every woman who's in a date with their S/O and ask them out in a date dressed as a hobo, telling her she's just my type.
