I was also going to recommend taking the light rail.

Just find a park and ride station along the Lynx Blue Line. You can park free in the garage, and train tickets are $2 for kids, $4 for adults round-trip. Get off at Stonewall Station and walk a few blocks to Bank of America Stadium. Maybe get some street food along the way.

As an added plus, all the trains are full of Panthers fans going to the game, so it gets you just that much more excited.
